TEAM NOTES

I'm begining to see a pattern...

I think I figured this thing out! Win-Loss-Win...... Since we lost, our next game will be won. Well the softball season is almost over and we need to finish strong in order to enjoy the off-season.

No MVP, but there is a Gold Glove...

I would have wanted to finish above .500 in order to vote for a MVP, but we won't be voting. However, on the bright side of things we have Geoff Chuang winning the Gold Glove.

Geoff has always done an outstanding job wherever we have put him in the field--Great Job Geoff!

Revenge--Rude Dog 2...

We face Rude Dog 2 in the first round of the playoffs and we seek revenge from an ugly loss to them earlier in the year. We have a full roster unlike the last time we played them and that means a strong batting order.

Be ready to treat the Rude Dog very rudely!

Quotable Quote!

None this week.

Defensive Gems

Geoff Chuang made some plays in right and should have had an assist with a gem of a throw. Pat Rubacaiva patrolled the middle and Jeff Saito did a magnificent job getting the ball in after rolling through the swamp (outfield saturated).

Shinning Apples!

Jeff Saito & Rick Banuelos went 2-2; with Saito hitting the most impressive single I have seen him hit. It was a line SHOT! Had it gotten up it would have hit a company across the street.

On Deck...

10/7/03 - 9:15 PM vs Rude Dog 2
